So my Tamagotchis are still all paused, but I bought a Kamigata Clockman a while ago and I keep him on my desk. He is an AWESOME adorable companion and I love him. I get the Strapya World emails (where I got my Clockman, as well as tons of other stuff like iPhone stickers and whatnot), and the latest one was a sneak preview of products coming out later this year, and a new Clockman was on there

There is NO information around about this new Clockman and I am losing it with anticipation. November is so far away! I want to know what he doessssss!!!!!

I just had to get that off my chest ^_^

I really recommend Clockman for virtual pet fans. He doesn't have much caretaking requirements but he is definitely an awesome electronic friend ^_^

That is so cool. I watched the video on the Strapya world page.

Is it difficult or expensive to order from Strapya? I've been considering several items from there, but I wasn't sure how the currency conversion would work, or how much the shipping would be.
I've ordered from Strapya World four or five times now and I've always been really delighted. The prices on the website are listed in both Japanese yen and US dollars, and shipping is pretty reasonable. Just click through the checkout — put in fake info if you feel insecure — to see what the totals come out to be and you'll see. They also ship pretty fast, and pack things really well. I like the company a lot and intend to be a regular customer.
Thanks for the tips. I think I'll be ordering from Strapya soon.
They've added a preorder page for the Clockman ID! http://www.strapya-world.com/products/46675.html There's a video on there too!

I'll wait until November to order directly rather than preordering, but here are my thoughts:

I am excited to get the ID because he will speak standard Japanese (I chose to get the Kansai dialect original Clockman) and I want a friend for my Kamigata Clockman. I think it's kind of cool that he has a changeable face, kind of like a Mr. Potato Head only the parts will move and talk to you!

I'm a little disappointed because the mouth only moves up and down on one axis, where the original Clockman had three, which made him more expressive. Also, having detachable eyes means that they look more like googly eyes and less natural and again, less expressive than the original Clockman.

The upside to having customizable faces is that you can give him whiskers and make him a cat, omg cute!!

He'll be $40. I look forward to the Strapya newsletter that announces that they are available for direct order, but I haven't 100% made up my mind about getting one.
